TALENTLAND Children’s Theatre is an essential part of ESSENCE Theatre-Studio’s activity. Love for theater starts from the early age and carries on through generations.
Our prestigious awards are:
The 1st place in the category of small theater forms at the "Planet Of Talents" Russian-language theater Festival in Washington in June 2018,
the 2nd place at the "MultOrlando 2018" Competition-Festival in Orlando, Florida, in November 2018,
the 3rd place in the "Live Classic" International Readers Competition in Washington, April 2020 – with Alina Alieva’s performing of a part from Aleksandr Grin’s “Scarlet Sails” novel.
TalentLand is an Acting Studio that provides age specific classes for kids, where Vassa Vasileva shares her personal experience and teaches what is necessary to meet the highest standards in the art of acting. The goal of this project is to attract, inspire and motivate kids, while establishing the Children’s theater in Brooklyn.
TALENTLAND Сhildren's theatre was created by Vassa Vasileva in August 2017, and worked in close collaboration with and on a base of the Brighton Ballet Theater School of Russian Ballet. From December 2018 to December 2019, it worked with Davidzon Radio as a joint project - "TRIUMPH” Children's Acting Studio.
Since January 2020, TALENTLAND Children's theatre is one of the successful creative projects of the ESSENCE Studio Theatre.
The United States is a great country of immigrants, and taking care of immigrants’ children is one of the strengths and beautiful sides of this country. Our performance serves this purpose. After all, it is necessary and relevant all the time.

The ESSENCE was founded by experts in theatrical art and education. Mr. Nabi Abdurakhmanov is the Director and Main Producer with 40 years of experience. He has been numerously awarded at the international festivals throughout the world. Ms.Vassa Vasileva is a co-founder of the theatre and Artistic Director of TALENTLAND Studio. She has more than 30 years of experience in theater and education.

From 2020, due to COVID-19, we had to find the new meanings and address many new issues associated with this pandemic. We also had to re-invent our theater and studio. After few weeks working online, we realized that kids became very vulnerable in the current situation. They have distanced from their school, teachers, friends and usual activities, taken out of the comfort zone and now they face the challenge of expressing themselves. At the TalentLand studio, we help our students overcome these issues, learning what difficulties kids are facing during these times and teaching them how to express their emotions and feelings. Through the process of creation we hope to motivate them for learning and self-expression in these uneasy times.

We have significant experience conducting educational classes for kids and adults. The Artistic Director of ESSENCE Theatre-Studio Nabi Abdurakhmanov is an Honorable Member of Arts of Uzbekistan and a winner of Pushkin Medal Award for achievements in the arts and culture, education, humanities and literature of Russia. Vassa Vasileva is a creator and Artistic Director of TalentLand Children’s Acting Studio, that has been founded on a base of ESSENCE Theatre-Studio Inc. She began career in Tashkent, Uzbekistan more than 30 years ago where has worked in the State Youth Theater as an actress, costume designer as well as taught mastery of acting. Our actors and volunteers have experience working with kids of different age groups and love theater.
